My first of two graphite close up portraits, of a simply beautiful and powerful Lion, titled
'Stately ...'   I absolutely loved completing this piece and working in graphite once again.  Sadly their numbers are in decline and are now classed as 'Vulnerable'.  This is beyond sad.  How sad it is to imagine living in a world where these magnificent animals do not exist. 
 
The piece has been double mounted in a soft white mount, and framed in a simple dark charcoal frame with an inner chrome trim.  It comes ready to hand and with a Certificate of Authenticity.
